Ein 5-tages Kurs und künstlerisches Retreat für Musiker*innen, Tänzer*innen, Darstellende und Bildende Künstler*innen und andere Interessierte. Im Fokus stehen Präsenz, Improvisation und Echtzeit Komposition*. Im inspirierenden Ambiente von Gut Reichenow bei Berlin öffnen wir den Raum für Austausch und Exploration in Workshop-Laboren, Morgen-Praxis, Performance und mehr, um sich Praktiken der Improvisation und Komposition mit Klang und Bewegung anzunähern und zu erforschen. Mit dem erfahrenen Dozententeam und Teilnehmer*innen aus verschiedenen Disziplinen und der experimentell-interdisziplinären Arbeit entsteht Zeit, um die Wahrnehmung zu vertiefen und zu erweitern, die individuellen und kollektiven Möglichkeiten und Performance Tools weiter zu entwickeln und das eigene künstlerischen Feld und Schaffen zu bereichern. Der Sommerkurs spielt mitten in der Natur nah bei Berlin, im großen Studio sowie draussen zwischen Feldern, Wäldern und Seen...!

A 5-day course and artistic retreat for musicians, dancers, performing and visual artists and other interested people. We focus on presence, improvisation and real-time composition. In the inspiring ambience of Gut Reichenow near Berlin we open the space for exchange and exploration in workshop labs, morning practice, performance  and more, in order to approach and explore the practices of improvisation and composition with sound and movement. With the experienced team of lecturers and participants from different disciplines and the experimental-interdisciplinary work, there will be time to deepen and expand perception, to further develop individual and collective possibilities and performance tools, and to enrich one's own artistic field and work. The summer course will play in the midst of nature near Berlin, in the large studio as well as outdoors between fields, forests and lakes...!

* Echtzeit Komposition oder "Instant Composition" ist eine Kunst, in der mit Musik/Klang, Tanz/Bewegung und z.T. weiteren Elementen wie Text, Raum, Objekt, ... eine Performance im Moment entsteht und gestaltet wird. 
* Real-time composition or "Instant Composition" is an art in which music/sound, dance/movement and partly other elements such as text, space, object, ... a performative work is created in the moment.

"Präsenz ist der Ausgangspunkt. Wir öffnen einen Raum des Hörens, Zuhörens und Teilens und erkunden die Fähigkeit und Kraft der Präsenz in Kontakt zu sein, und mit den Mitteln von Klang und Bewegung zu forschen und zu kommunizieren. Dabei interagieren wir mit Körper und Instrumenten, Klang und Bewegung, mit Raum, Architektur und Natur. Performative Werkzeuge werden ins Spiel gebracht und entwickeln die individuellen Qualitäten des Kreierens und Handelns weiter, sowie die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Partner und verschiedenen Gruppenkonstellationen. Auf diese Weise schaffen wir spielerisch einen durchlässigen Geist und Körper, vertiefen das wache Verfügbar-Sein im Moment, in dem wir voll verantwortlich sind, für eine bewusste Haltung in der Improvisation und das Öffnen eines neuen Raumes der Möglichkeiten."

Die Elemente und Formate des Kurses mit Workshop-Laboren, Morgen-Praxis und Performance fliessen im Verlauf der Tage und Nächte ineinander. 

"Presence is our starting point. We open a space of listening and sharing and explore the ability and power of presence as a way to be in contact, to explore, to exchange and communicate with movement and soon - sound and movement. We will interact and compose with body and instruments, sound and movement, with space, architecture and nature. With performative tools we develop the individual qualities of creating and acting, working with the partner, as well as in various group constellations. In this way we playfully create a permeable mind and body, deepen the awake and available moment, in which we are fully responsible and consciously align ourselves with listening. For a conscious attitude towards improvisation and for opening a new space for possibilities."

The elements and formats of the course with workshop labs, morning practice, performance flow into each other in the process of the days and nights.

• First: Don't worry! we will support you if you have questions how to arrive ;-) // zunächst: keine Sorge! wir unerstützen Euch bei Fragen zur Anreise. 
• Shuttle: we will provide ONE shuttle at 17.7. and on 21st between the closest S-Bahn station "Straussberg Nord" and Reichenow in case that public transport is not sufficient with the timing. That will be communicated before // Shuttle: wir werde am 17..7. und 21.7. EINEN shuttle zw. Reichenow und S-bhf Straussberg Nord organisieren, falls der  öffentliche Bus zeitlich nicht sinnvoll fährt. Das wird vorher noch bekannt gegeben.
• Für Berliner*innen: der Radweg von S-bhf Straussberg-Nord nach Reichenow ist wunderbar und nahezu autofrei! // for Berlin-habitants: the bike lane form S-bhf Straussberg Nord to Reichenow is wonderful and almost car-free!
